Description
The Church is the sacrament of Christ who is the sacrament of the Father. As such, the mission of the Church is to make Christ’s presence in the world real by continuing to bear witness to the presence of our Triune God in the world through her words and deeds. In the process, she highlights the salvific will of God in the world. It is the understanding of this mission that the book strives to make easy for the reader to grasp and appreciate. This is done by dwelling at length on the Church’s sacramental nature from which flows her apostolicity.
