The Prayer Services in this book were all composed by Fr Anthony De Mello, S.J. many years ago, when he was Rector of Vinayalaya, Mumbai. They are presented here with minimal changes. An effort has been made to use inclusive language as much as feasible. Originally these Prayer Services were meant to be Evening Prayers. They have been adapted for use at any time of the day, besides the evening. They provide much matter for meditation and prayer during a Retreat and can be integrated into various liturgical and para-liturgical services. The Prayer Services reveal that keen insight into human nature, which always characterized Fr Anthony De Mello.
