Rejoice in the Lord is a Book of Prayers that was first ofered to the Catholics of Mumbai by Fr Rufino Irache, S.J., in 1930. It became a widely accepted prayer book. The prayer edition has been completely revised. This revision has been motivated by the realization that the prayers we say express both the persons we are and the persons we want to become. The revised prayers express the new aspirations of the post – Vatican Church. Some of the traditional prayers, e.g. those to the Saints, have not only been revised but completely rewritte.
