Description
Pope Francis has always considered faith a human experience that sets the person in motion. The believer is never still nor does he stop; he/she is a pilgrim of the absolute, seeking to deepen the reasons for his belief. In these reflections, the value of being a person on a journey in one’s experience of faith is made explicit in simplicity.
“The Jubilee of 2025, alongside the essential dimension of hope, must urge us toward a greater awareness of the fact that faith is a pilgrimage and that we, on this earth, are pilgrims. We are neither tourists nor wanderers; we do not traverse aimlessly, existentially speaking. We are pilgrims. The pilgrim experiences his journey under the guidance of three key concepts: risk, hardship, and destination.”
– Pope Francis
