Fr (Dr) John Alexander, a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco for over three decades, is a prolific writer, social philosopher and educationist. With a doctorate in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, to his credit, he has been on the visiting faculty of many universities both in India and abroad. Besides shouldering many key responsibilities in the Province, he has written seven books and more than 100 research articles in leading national and international journals. Currently, he is the Vice Provincial and Formation Delegate of the Salesian Province of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
